The Yalukit Willam Ngargee – People Place Gathering Festival will be broadcasted LIVE simultaneously on NITV and The Campfire Saturday 4th February @ 5pm – 9pm AEDT.
NITV proudly presents the Yalukit Willam Ngargee Festival in its 7th year, hosted by Aaron Pederson, Casey Donovan and Sean Choolburra.
Under the shadows of Luna Park at St Kilda in Melbourne, the festivals line-up includes: Ian Tambo and Company Band, Emma Donovan, Last Kinection, and Bart Willoughby Band just to name a few, with guest appearances by many Indigenous personalities.
NITV Director of Content Tanya Denning said “Indigenous cultural expression is a fundamental part of telling our people’s stories and we, are honoured to support this by engaging an all Indigenous broadcast crew to deliver a live television and web broadcast”.
NITV has brought together an all Indigenous camera crew and production team including students to bring you a 4 hour LIVE broadcast. Engaging an all Indigenous freelance crew was a must for NITV, providing Indigenous young people hands on experience in the television industry. The crew will work together to produce 10 hours of new broadcast quality entertainment for NITV.

Isa, channel 60 Bourke, channel 34 Alice Springs, Terrestrial analog in 147 remote Indigenous communities across Australia Satellite Direct to home via the Optus Aurora platform and at Parliament House, Canberra.
